Joel Hackleman - A Leader in Indiana Beverage Retail

Joel Hackleman is a longtime business leader and general manager of Keg N Bottle in Anderson, Indiana, where he has built a career spanning more than three decades. His journey with the family-owned business began in 1992 as a second-shift supervisor. Joel Hackleman progressed to store manager, buying manager, and ultimately general manager in 2000, a position he continues to hold.

As general manager, Joel Hackleman oversees virtually every aspect of Keg N Bottle's operations. His responsibilities include customer service, purchasing, accounting, banking, scheduling, human resources, hiring, employee compensation, warehouse operations, and inventory management. He also develops relationships with suppliers, distributors, banks, nonprofit organizations, and industry associations while negotiating pricing and managing purchasing levels to support profitability.

Under Joel Hackleman’s leadership, Keg N Bottle has continued the Hackleman family's longstanding commitment to customer service and community involvement. Established in 1968, the business has become a trusted source for spirits, wine, beer, and craft beverages throughout Madison County.

Joel Hackleman is known for his product knowledge and personal approach to customer service, including helping shoppers discover new products and sourcing specialty labels for collectors. Outside of work, his interests include hunting, fishing, boating, wake surfing, golf, weightlifting, and running. He is also a member of the Indiana Association of Beverage Retailers.
